Vizag is getting a powerful new tourism landmark at Kailasagiri Hill Top. A 65-foot tall Trishul and 10-foot Damarukam are expected to be inaugurated on April 27, 2026, adding a new spiritual and scenic attraction to Visakhapatnam.

The project is being developed by VMRDA to boost tourism at Kailasagiri, one of Vizag’s most popular hilltop destinations. The illuminated Trishul and Damarukam are designed to enhance the spiritual ambience of the hill, while also becoming a major photo spot for visitors.

New Attraction at Kailasagiri

The structure includes a massive 65-ft Trishul along with a 10-ft Damarukam. Trial runs have already been conducted, and the official public opening is expected immediately after inauguration.

Why This Matters for Vizag Tourism

Kailasagiri is already known for its beautiful sea views, Shiva-Parvati statue, ropeway, toy train, and family-friendly atmosphere. With this new Trishul landmark, Vizag tourism is expected to get another strong attraction for locals, devotees, and tourists.

The site is also expected to look more attractive at night with illumination, making it a fresh evening destination in Visakhapatnam.
