The new facility strengthens Andhra Pradesh’s growing position in the global healthcare technology and medical manufacturing sector. With this expansion, Vizag continues attracting international MedTech innovation and advanced healthcare manufacturing projects.
Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone is India’s premier medical technology manufacturing hub and one of the world’s largest medical device clusters. Spread across 270 acres in Visakhapatnam, the zone supports advanced medical equipment manufacturing, R&D, testing laboratories, and innovation ecosystems.
The addition of Sutra Labs’ Smart Wearables & CGM sensing unit is expected to boost high-tech healthcare manufacturing in Vizag while supporting innovations in remote patient monitoring, diabetes care technology, and wearable health devices.
