Fortune 500 Giant IFF to Invest ₹3,513 Crore in Nellore’s IFFCO Kisan SEZ

Andhra Pradesh continues to attract major global investments as Fortune 500 company International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) has announced a massive ₹3,513 crore investment in Nellore’s IFFCO Kisan Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The project is expected to become one of the biggest industrial developments in the region and will further strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s manufacturing ecosystem.

According to reports, IFF will establish a world-class flavour and fragrance manufacturing facility spread across 24.71 acres in the IFFCO Kisan SEZ located in Nellore district. The project will be developed in two phases and is expected to generate significant employment opportunities and industrial growth in Andhra Pradesh.

This will be the second manufacturing unit of IFF in India after its existing facility at Sri City. The new Nellore facility highlights the growing importance of Andhra Pradesh as a preferred destination for global manufacturing investments.

The investment is being seen as another major boost for Andhra Pradesh’s industrial development plans. Over the last few years, the state has been attracting large-scale investments in sectors including manufacturing, IT, renewable energy, food processing, and logistics.

Officials believe the new IFF project in Nellore will help improve exports, create new job opportunities, and support ancillary industries in the region. The development also strengthens Nellore’s position as an emerging industrial hub in South India.
