Araku Coffee Café Coming Soon to RK Beach Road, Vizag

Visakhapatnam: A new destination for coffee lovers and tourists is coming up on RK Beach Road, Visakhapatnam. The Araku Coffee Café and Experience Centre is being developed by the Girijan Cooperative Corporation (GCC) at an estimated cost of ₹1.06 crore.

The upcoming facility will bring together an Araku Coffee Café, tribal products and an interactive experience showcasing the journey of coffee from farm to cup.

Araku Coffee Café on RK Beach Road

The ground floor of the facility will house the Araku Coffee Café.

Visitors will be able to enjoy Araku coffee while also shopping for tribal products marketed by GCC. The café is being developed with both residents and tourists in mind.

Its location on RK Beach Road will also make it an accessible stop for people visiting one of Visakhapatnam’s popular coastal areas.

Araku Coffee Experience Centre

The first floor will feature the Araku Coffee Experience Centre.

The centre will introduce visitors to the journey of coffee, starting from its cultivation by tribal farmers and continuing through harvesting, processing and preparation.

Visitors will learn about:

  • Processing methods
  • Coffee preparation
  • The journey from farm to cup
  • The work behind every cup of coffee

The centre will also highlight the contribution of tribal farmers and help promote their produce.

Facility Expected to Open in About a Month

GCC Chairman Kidari Sravan Kumar inspected the ongoing works on September 29, 2026.

During the inspection, he said that the facility could be opened in about a month. However, an exact opening date has not been announced yet.

New Experience for Vizag Visitors

The Araku Coffee Café and Experience Centre will add a new coffee and tourism experience to RK Beach Road, Visakhapatnam.

Along with serving Araku coffee, the facility will give visitors an opportunity to understand how coffee reaches the cup and learn more about the tribal farmers involved in its cultivation.

Once opened, the centre will offer residents and tourists another place to explore Araku coffee and tribal products in Vizag.
