GVMC Completes Ward Division Process in Vizag

The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation has completed the ward division process in Visakhapatnam as part of the latest government guidelines.

According to officials, the number of wards in GVMC has been increased from 98 to 120 to accommodate the growing population and urban expansion in the city.

Draft Publication Ready

Authorities have prepared the draft publication related to the new ward division. Starting today, details regarding ward boundaries and population distribution will be displayed at the GVMC head office and all zonal offices across Visakhapatnam.

Residents can now review the updated ward maps and population lists released by the corporation.

Public Objections Accepted for 7 Days

GVMC officials announced that objections and suggestions from the public will be accepted for a period of seven days.

After reviewing the objections received from citizens, the corporation will prepare a final report and submit it to the government for further approval and implementation.

Major Administrative Change for Vizag

The increase in wards from 98 to 120 is expected to improve administrative management, civic services, and local governance in rapidly growing areas of Vizag.
