The annual festival of Sri Moda Konda Ammavari Jatara is set to take place from May 17 to May 19 in the Paderu region of Alluri Sitarama Raju District.

Every year, thousands of devotees from different regions visit the famous temple to participate in the traditional celebrations and seek blessings from Goddess Moda Konda Ammavaru.

700 Police Personnel Deployed

With heavy crowds expected during the three-day festival, authorities have made extensive security arrangements this year.

Nearly 700 police personnel have been deployed to ensure smooth crowd management, traffic regulation, and devotee safety throughout the event.

CCTV and Drone Surveillance

Officials have installed CCTV cameras at multiple key locations including:

  • Temple premises
  • Devotee routes
  • Parking areas
  • Century grounds

In addition to CCTV monitoring, drone surveillance has also been arranged to closely monitor crowd movement and maintain security during the festival.

Special Focus on Devotee Safety

Police and district authorities are taking special precautions to prevent any untoward incidents during the massive gathering.

Security teams will continuously monitor the area while helping devotees with traffic guidance, parking management, and emergency assistance if required.

The annual Moda Konda Ammavari Jatara is considered one of the important tribal and spiritual festivals in the agency areas of Andhra Pradesh.
