Scoot Flights to Operate From Bhogapuram Airport Starting July 8, 2026

Singapore-based airline Scoot has officially announced that all its Visakhapatnam flight operations will shift to Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport from July 8, 2026.

The airline will no longer operate from the existing Visakhapatnam Airport as operations move completely to the newly developed international airport at Bhogapuram.

A major update for passengers is that the VTZ airport code will also shift to the new Bhogapuram airport. This marks a historic transition in Andhra Pradesh’s aviation infrastructure and strengthens Vizag’s position as an emerging international connectivity hub.

The new Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport is expected to significantly improve passenger handling capacity, international connectivity, cargo movement, and tourism growth in the region. The airport project is one of the biggest infrastructure developments currently underway in Andhra Pradesh.
