Visakh Tourism Promotion Gets Major Boost with Rapido Partnership

Visakhapatnam tourism is set to receive a major boost after the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority partnered with Rapido to improve the tourist experience across the city.

Under this new tourism initiative, Rapido riders will not only transport tourists to their destinations but will also act as tourist guides by explaining the specialties, history, and importance of famous tourist spots in Visakhapatnam.

The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority announced that in the first phase, around 350 Rapido Driver cum Tourism Guides are ready to begin services today. These trained drivers will help tourists explore the beauty of Vizag in a more informative and friendly way.

Rapido Drivers to Act as Tourist Guides in Vizag

Tourists visiting Visakhapatnam can now learn more about famous locations while traveling through Rapido vehicles. The trained drivers will provide information about popular tourist attractions, local culture, food, beaches, and heritage spots during the ride itself.

This unique tourism promotion initiative aims to improve visitor experience and make travel across Vizag easier, safer, and more interactive.

Popular tourist destinations in Visakhapatnam such as:

• RK Beach
• Kailasagiri
• Yarada Beach
• Araku Valley

will now become more accessible and informative for visitors through this Rapido tourism support program.

Expansion Planned for Other Andhra Pradesh Cities

Officials stated that after the successful launch in Visakhapatnam, the Rapido Driver cum Tourism Guide initiative will also be expanded to cities like:

• Vijayawada
• Visakhapatnam
• Other major tourist cities across Andhra Pradesh

The initiative is expected to strengthen Andhra Pradesh tourism promotion and create additional opportunities for Rapido riders while helping tourists understand local attractions better.
