Gold Jewellery Theft Reported at Dwaraka RTC Complex in Vizag

A major theft incident was reported at the Dwaraka Bus Station in Visakhapatnam.

According to reports, a woman passenger preparing to board a bus to Kakinada became the target of two unidentified women thieves at the busy RTC complex.

35 Tolas of Gold Jewellery Stolen

The victim was reportedly carrying a bag containing around 35 tolas of gold ornaments. As the woman boarded the bus, the two suspects allegedly followed her and stole the gold jewellery from her bag before escaping from the spot.

The theft created panic among passengers and travelers present at the Dwaraka RTC Complex.

CCTV Footage Captures Suspects

The entire incident was reportedly captured on CCTV cameras installed at the bus complex. Police officials are currently examining the footage to identify and trace the two women suspects involved in the theft.

Authorities believe the accused may have targeted passengers carrying valuables in crowded areas.

Police Investigation Underway

The victims lodged a complaint with the police following the incident. A case has been registered, and police teams have launched an investigation to track down the suspects.

Officials are also advising passengers traveling through crowded bus stations to remain alert and safeguard their valuables.
